Voting against H.R. 7757, the Kids Internet and Digital Safety Act, would be a serious mistake because children face increasing risks in the online world, including harmful content, exploitation, cyberbullying, privacy concerns, and platforms designed to keep young users engaged. Parents should not have to fight these dangers alone. Congress has a responsibility to make sure technology companies take reasonable steps to protect children and provide families with stronger tools to keep their kids safe online.
If I am elected to Congress, I will work to fix these problems and fight for stronger protections for children online. I will listen to parents, educators, and child-safety advocates, work across party lines when necessary, and support responsible legislation that puts the safety and well-being of our children first. Our children deserve to grow up with access to technology without being left vulnerable to preventable dangers.
