When Congressman Higgins voted against expanding the Child Tax Credit, working families and children are the ones who feel the consequences. Families are struggling with the rising costs of food, housing, childcare, and everyday necessities. Every dollar can make a difference when a parent is trying to provide for their children.
I believe our government should put families and children first—not make life harder for those already struggling.
If I am elected as your Congresswoman, I will vote for the people and fight for policies that support working families.
